Role Overview
Lead high-impact healthcare and medical data initiatives that help train frontier AI models. As the primary contact for leading AI lab customers, you will direct teams of healthcare experts, including PhDs, professors, and physicians, while ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Own healthcare and medical projects end to end and maintain strong client satisfaction.
- Design, run, and improve complex data pipelines for efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and quality.
- Manage Human Data Managers and Leads who review work completed by healthcare and medical subject-matter experts.
- Communicate directly with AI lab customers on large, high-impact initiatives.
- Partner with Human Data Engineers to define, monitor, and improve KPIs across expert-led workflows.
- Provide executive-level updates on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
- Report directly to executive leadership for human data operations.
Qualifications
- An MD is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional stakeholder-management and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with senior healthcare and medical experts.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience driving operational processes, managing large-scale or healthcare-focused data projects, or improving complex workflows.
- Experience in data operations, engineering, computer science, or substantial exposure to healthcare or medicine.
- Leadership and team-management capability, with experience in human data operations.
- A startup-minded, entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions quickly in high-stakes settings.
- Comfort working long hours, including weekends, in a fast-moving startup environment.
Work Terms
- Full-time, remote role.
- Requires a sustained commitment to demanding schedules, including weekends when needed.
Compensation
- Advertised annual compensation range: $400, 000 to $550, 000.
- National base-salary range: $180, 000 to $230, 000 USD annually.
- Employees are eligible for equity compensation and may receive performance-based bonuses, subject to role and applicable policies.
