About this role

Role Overview

Use your childcare and caregiving experience to help improve AI systems by recording routine caregiving activities with your smartphone. This remote contractor role focuses on capturing high-quality video and motion data during tasks such as feeding, playtime, supervised activities, and household routines involving children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture motion data and synchronized video while performing everyday caregiving tasks.
  • Follow detailed recording protocols to meet quality, labeling, and accuracy requirements.
  • Complete device compatibility checks and an AI-enabled interview.
  • Communicate with the team to clarify instructions and provide feedback on data collection.
  • Submit approved work reliably and on time according to project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Current or recent experience as a nanny, au pair, childcare provider, or caregiver.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow step-by-step procedures consistently.
  • Comfort using smartphones and everyday mobile apps, with strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule and output.
  • Physical ability to safely perform repetitive caregiving tasks.
  • Access to a compatible smartphone: iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later.
  • Access to a head strap for hands-free recording within 48 hours of the start date.
  • A Gmail address is strongly preferred for tool integration.

Work Terms

  • Remote independent contractor engagement.
  • Available only to candidates based in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.
  • Contribute at least 10 hours of approved video data each week throughout the project.
  • Recording is completed on a smartphone with a head-mounted camera setup. Equipment specifications are provided during onboarding.

Compensation

Pay is listed at $13 to $15 per hour. Compensation is output-based and paid for recorded videos that meet project specifications.

Eligibility

You must be eligible to work in one of the designated U.S. states.

Application Process

Selected candidates complete the required onboarding and can generally begin within approximately 24 hours after it is finished.
