Role Overview

Apply your funds law experience to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work. This remote, part-time contract role focuses on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining, with particular relevance to technology-focused matters. Your legal judgment will help improve how AI identifies risk, interprets contract language, and produces precise, practical outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete simulated contract negotiations and contract-redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed expert feedback to improve accuracy and precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI contract-task performance.
• Work with product and research teams to refine training data, guidance, and best practices for AI-enabled contract review.
• Contribute legal expertise to the development and evaluation of AI tools for legal practitioners.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Experience with fund management, fund formation, contract redlining, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Strong analytical ability and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $90 to $150 per hour.
