This contract role contributes to high-quality translation, localization, editing, and language guidance that help train and evaluate frontier AI models. The work is remote and focused on delivering precise, context-appropriate French content and guidance to cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert-level French language services, including translation, localization, editing, and cultural adaptation for written and verbal content.
- Review, edit, and proofread documents to ensure grammatical accuracy, correct vocabulary, and alignment with brand voice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve clarity and effectiveness of multilingual communication.
- Develop, refine, and maintain language resources such as style guides, terminology databases, and language guidelines.
- Advise on linguistic nuances and best practices for both written and spoken French.
- Lead or participate in training sessions to upskill team members on French language usage and intercultural communication.
- Research and keep current with evolving French linguistic trends, terminology, and standards.
- Native or near-native fluency in French, with strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Background in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
- Proven ability to adapt language for different contexts, audiences, and purposes.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy and consistency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple projects independently in a remote environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable working as a remote contractor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international or multilingual teams.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and language technology.
- Experience in training or coaching others on language and communication best practices.
