French Linguist for AI Model Training

Role Overview

Help advance French-language AI by evaluating model outputs and curating high-quality linguistic data. This remote role focuses on improving how large language models understand and generate French across practical language tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of AI-generated French text for translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar-correction use cases.
• Edit, refine, and rewrite French content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
• Annotate French text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features.
• Identify model errors and language gaps, then collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback and analysis to support ongoing model training.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native French fluency, with excellent command of grammar, syntax, and style.
• Professional experience in French translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuance, regional variation, and context-appropriate usage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.
• Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed remote teams.
• Interest in AI and large language model technologies is preferred, but not required.

Compensation
