Bengali Translator and Linguist

Role Overview

Apply native-level Bengali expertise to produce clear, culturally appropriate language outputs and support effective cross-cultural communication in a remote, collaborative setting. This contract opportunity involves translation, localization, linguistic review, and language guidance across a range of content and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Bengali.
• Review linguistic content for quality, consistency, tone, style, and terminology.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on content creation and cultural adaptation.
• Ensure Bengali written and verbal communications are clear, engaging, and culturally appropriate.
• Provide guidance on Bengali usage, grammar, and linguistic best practices.
• Contribute to language-focused projects, process improvements, and resolution of language-related questions.

Qualifications

• Native-level written and spoken Bengali proficiency, including strong grammar and vocabulary.
• Demonstrated experience in linguistic analysis, translation, or localization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $10 to $30 per hour.
