Role Overview
Work on high-quality Bengali language outputs that improve linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance for content and AI training. This role focuses on translation, localization, linguistic review, and advising cross-functional teams to ensure Bengali content is clear, culturally appropriate, and consistent.
Key Responsibilities- Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Bengali with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Perform linguistic reviews to ensure consistency in tone, style, terminology, and overall quality.
- Collaborate with product, content, and engineering teams to support content creation and cultural adaptation initiatives.
- Ensure written and verbal Bengali communications are clear, engaging, and appropriate for the target audience.
- Provide subject-matter guidance on Bengali grammar, usage, and linguistic best practices.
- Participate in language projects and propose process improvements to raise quality and efficiency.
- Serve as a resource to resolve language-related questions and challenges.
- Native-level proficiency in Bengali, both written and spoken, with excellent command of grammar and vocabulary.
- Proven experience in linguistic analysis, translation, or localization roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptive to evolving language trends and cultural nuances.
- Required skills indicated: language proficiency and linguistic expertise.
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Bengali Language, or a related field.
- Experience working with international or multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with translation and localization tools and industry standards.

- Pay range: $10 to $30 per hour.
