Role Overview
Provide expert Bengali language support to improve linguistic quality across translations, localization, and content adaptation for teams building AI training data and language evaluations. This remote, contract role focuses on producing accurate, culturally appropriate Bengali outputs and advising on linguistic best practices to ensure clear cross-cultural communication.
Key Responsibilities- Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Bengali with attention to tone and context.
- Perform linguistic reviews to ensure consistency in tone, style, terminology, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support content creation, cultural adaptation, and language-related projects.
- Ensure written and verbal Bengali communications are clear, engaging, and culturally appropriate.
- Provide expert guidance on Bengali usage, grammar, and linguistic best practices.
- Contribute to process improvements within the team and act as a resource for resolving language-related queries.
- Native-level proficiency in Bengali, written and spoken, with excellent command of grammar and vocabulary.
- Proven experience in linguistic analysis, translation, or localization work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Adaptability to evolving language trends and cultural nuances.
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Bengali Language, or a related field.
- Experience working with international or multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with translation or localization tools and industry standards.
