Swedish Language Expert for AI Training

Provide high-quality Swedish language services that ensure clarity, cultural accuracy, and consistent brand voice across varied content types. You will work remotely with cross-functional teams to create, review, and adapt Swedish-language materials that improve communication and support AI training and evaluation efforts for a leading AI data lab.

• Translate, transcreate, and adapt content into Swedish across multiple formats and subject areas.
• Review, edit, and proofread Swedish materials to ensure linguistic accuracy, correct tone, and consistency with brand guidelines.
• Localize communications for Swedish audiences, applying cultural and contextual adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, content creators, and subject matter experts to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Provide terminology guidance and answer Swedish language queries within the team.
• Monitor Swedish language trends and usage changes to keep content current and culturally appropriate.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Swedish, with advanced written and verbal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in linguistic analysis, translation, transcreation, or language adaptation.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, tone, and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a remote environment.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating with distributed teams.
• Passion for language quality and cultural authenticity.
• Preferred: degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
• Preferred: experience in multicultural or international team settings.
• Preferred: familiarity with computer assisted translation tools and language quality assurance platforms.

Contract position, fully remote. Engagement is as an independent contractor.

Pay range, 10 to 30 USD per hour.
