Help strengthen the quality, clarity, and cultural relevance of Nynorsk communication across remote projects. You will apply deep linguistic expertise to content production, localization, and language standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Review, edit, and proofread Nynorsk content for accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams on high-impact written and spoken Nynorsk communications.
- Create and maintain Nynorsk language standards, glossaries, and style guides.
- Provide guidance for Nynorsk translation, localization, and transcreation.
- Give writers and translators constructive feedback that improves language quality.
- Track linguistic trends and industry developments to keep content engaging for Nynorsk-speaking audiences.
- Contribute to training sessions and workshops on effective Nynorsk communication practices.
- Native or near-native Nynorsk proficiency, with exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience editing, proofreading, or translating Nynorsk content across multiple domains.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving ability, and commitment to linguistic quality.
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different formats, platforms, and audiences.
- Effective collaboration skills and experience building relationships in multicultural, remote teams.
- Proactive, self-directed working style and proficiency with digital content-creation and editing tools.
- Degree in linguistics, language studies, communications, or a related field.
- Experience with language technology, including CAT tools or localization platforms.
- Experience training or mentoring language professionals.
