Hindi Language Expert for AI Training

Contribute expert Hindi language skills to translation, localization, and content-quality projects that improve how AI and digital products communicate in Hindi. This remote contract role focuses on precise, culturally appropriate Hindi writing and editing across digital, print, and audio formats, supporting cross-functional teams and high-impact communications. The work supports an AI data lab that transforms subject matter expertise into training data and evaluations, with a mission to scale expert contributions globally.

• Translate, proofread, and localize content between English and Hindi, ensuring clarity, cultural relevance, and audience-appropriate tone.
• Develop, edit, and review written materials for multiple media types, including digital content, print, and audio scripts.
• Conduct quality assurance on Hindi materials to maintain consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style requirements.
• Create and maintain language resources such as glossaries and style guides tailored to project or customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic guidance and uphold language standards in projects.
• Provide verbal and written language support for presentations and high-impact engagements as needed.
• Keep current with trends in Hindi linguistics, terminology, and digital communication practices.

• Native-level proficiency in Hindi, with strong written and spoken command of the language.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to nuance and detail.
• Solid understanding of linguistics and language structure.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to manage time and deliverables in a remote work environment.
• Experience using translation tools, digital content platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality language services.
• Preferred: prior professional experience as a Hindi specialist, translator, or linguist, background in content development or localization, and experience working in multicultural remote teams.
