Hindi Linguist

Use native-level Hindi expertise to translate, localize, and refine content for digital, print, and audio communications in a remote contract role supporting AI-related projects.

• Translate, proofread, and localize English and Hindi content while preserving clarity, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
• Develop, edit, and review written materials across digital, print, and audio formats.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain language standards and provide linguistic input on projects.
• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure Hindi-language materials are consistent and accurate.
• Create and maintain language resources, glossaries, and style guides aligned with project requirements.
• Provide written and verbal communication support for important engagements and presentations.
• Keep current with Hindi linguistic trends, terminology, and digital communication practices.

• Native-level written and spoken Hindi proficiency.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with close attention to nuance and detail.
• Strong understanding of linguistics and language structure.
• Clear, empathetic verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills for remote work.
• Experience with translation tools, digital content platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Professional experience as a Hindi language specialist, translator, or linguist.
• Experience in content development, localization, or digital media.
