Apply advanced chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by producing clear, accurate, real-world scientific input. This remote contract opportunity centers on translating complex chemistry concepts into precise written and verbal explanations that improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Produce authoritative, in-depth responses to advanced chemistry questions for AI training.
- Review chemistry data, questions, and proposed solutions for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current best practices.
- Develop thorough explanations, justifications, and context across foundational and specialized chemistry topics.
- Create and document benchmark-quality example responses for future AI outputs.
- Collaborate remotely with annotation leads and project managers to refine response requirements and quality standards.
- Join occasional remote discussions or workshops to clarify project goals and maintain domain alignment.
- PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline, with strong foundational and advanced chemistry knowledge.
- Ability to explain complex chemical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
- Experience creating or reviewing educational, research, or technical chemistry content, such as publications, curriculum, peer reviews, or industry reports.
- Knowledge across diverse chemistry subfields, including organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and materials chemistry, with the ability to tailor context for different audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail, scientific writing skills, verbal communication skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with AI, data annotation, or digital content projects is beneficial but not required.
