Academic Researcher for AI Model Training

Apply your subject matter expertise to conduct literature and document research, prepare and review complex Word and PDF deliverables, and produce client-ready reports and presentations that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. You will contribute evidence-based insights and high-quality data while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across domains such as legal, healthcare, policy, finance, and STEM engineering.

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis in your area of expertise, delivering high-quality, evidence-based insights.
• Evaluate and synthesize academic literature, legal documents, and industry data to inform project outcomes.
• Prepare, format, and review complex documents in Microsoft Word and PDF, using advanced Word features including tracked changes, formatting, and form completion.
• Edit PDFs and extract structured data from documents where required.
• Translate complex findings into clear, concise reports and presentations suitable for Fortune 500 standards.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with designated guidelines in all written deliverables.
• Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication with project stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diverse project needs.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in academic research, legal, policy, healthcare, or related sectors.
• Master''s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing Word and PDF documents, including tracked changes, advanced formatting, document review, and data extraction.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs while working remotely.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or for Fortune 500 companies.
• Prior involvement in legal, healthcare, policy, or financial operations document workflows.
• Active record of publication or presentations in academic or industry settings.

Contractor role, fully remote. Engagements are paid on an hourly basis. Assignment volume and timing depend on project availability. Candidates must be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and meet project deadlines.

Pay range: $20.00 to $55.00 per hour, paid hourly.
