Role Overview
Apply advanced biology expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. You will provide rigorous, real-world scientific input that improves how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Critically evaluate biology-related data, prompts, and content used in AI development workflows, providing detailed feedback.
- Create, review, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations based on complex real-world biological problems.
- Provide expert insight to ensure biological AI training data and system outputs are accurate, relevant, and sufficiently detailed.
- Work with project teams to resolve ambiguities and strengthen data quality, coverage, and representation of biological subject matter.
- Document findings, methods, and rationale to support transparent, reproducible deliverables.
- Participate in iterative reviews and ongoing evaluations to improve AI capabilities in biology.
- Share knowledge with interdisciplinary experts to enrich project outcomes.
Qualifications
- PhD in biology or a closely related life science discipline.
- Strong command of core biological principles and the ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal scientific communication skills.
- Experience analyzing scientific data, critically evaluating research, and synthesizing complex subject matter.
- Ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality work within defined project frameworks.
- Prior interdisciplinary scientific or technology project experience is preferred. AI exposure is helpful but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
- Compensation is paid per task that meets project specifications, and the time required may vary based on experience and workflow.
- Minimum submission requirements apply, including a required minimum number of task submissions each week.
- Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required onboarding process.
Compensation
$80 to $90 per hour.
