Role Overview
Apply molecular biology expertise to help train and improve next-generation AI systems through accurate, expert-driven scientific data, evaluations, and feedback. This remote contract opportunity centers on translating real-world molecular biology knowledge into high-quality inputs that strengthen how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review molecular biology data, experimental protocols, and scientific literature for relevance and accuracy.
- Develop content, annotations, and explanations grounded in current molecular biology concepts, techniques, and findings.
- Evaluate AI-generated material for scientific validity, clarity, and alignment with established molecular biology standards.
- Provide detailed subject-matter feedback to improve AI understanding and performance.
- Create or curate real-world scenarios, questions, and datasets that reflect important molecular biology challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams to refine deliverables and maintain scientific quality.
- Share insights on emerging molecular biology trends and applications as needed.
Qualifications
- Expertise in molecular biology.
- Advanced degree, such as an MS, PhD, or equivalent, in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related life science field.
- Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of molecular biology results.
- Familiarity with contemporary laboratory techniques, including PCR, sequencing, CRISPR, or protein analysis.
- Scientific writing, publishing, or peer-review experience in molecular biology or a related discipline.
- Ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and accurately to varied audiences.
- Interdisciplinary or multi-expert project collaboration experience is an asset.
- Interest in AI technologies and their application in molecular biology.
