Role Overview
Apply your molecular biology expertise to help train next-generation AI systems using authentic, expert-driven scientific data. You will contribute real-world knowledge, rigorous evaluation, and clear feedback that improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze molecular biology data, experimental protocols, and scientific literature for relevance and accuracy.
- Develop high-quality content, annotations, and explanations grounded in current molecular biology concepts, techniques, and findings.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific validity, clarity, and alignment with established molecular biology standards.
- Provide detailed feedback on molecular biology topics to strengthen AI system understanding and performance.
- Create or curate real-world scenarios, questions, and datasets that reflect important molecular biology challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams to refine deliverables and maintain scientific quality.
- Contribute insight on emerging molecular biology trends and applications as needed.
Qualifications
- Expertise in molecular biology.
- Advanced degree, such as an MS, PhD, or equivalent, in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related life science field.
- Demonstrated skill in experimental design, data analysis, and interpreting molecular biology results.
- Familiarity with contemporary laboratory techniques, including PCR, sequencing, CRISPR, or protein analysis.
- Track record of scientific writing, publishing, or peer review in molecular biology or a related discipline.
- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts accurately and clearly to varied audiences.
- Experience working across interdisciplinary teams or on multi-expert projects is an asset.
- Interest in AI technologies and enthusiasm for their application in molecular biology.
Work Terms
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $80 per hour.
