Role Overview
Apply your biology expertise to create, review, and refine real-world biological content that trains and improves next-generation AI systems in the life sciences. This remote contractor role focuses on accurate scientific communication, data annotation, and content development to help models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required; strong domain knowledge and scientific writing skills are the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Review, annotate, and provide real-world feedback on diverse biological datasets and educational content.
- Author, evaluate, and edit laboratory reports, research papers, or field study narratives for accuracy and clarity.
- Develop and refine prompts, queries, and data inputs to guide AI model understanding of biological concepts.
- Identify knowledge gaps and ambiguities in model-generated outputs, and provide expert corrections and explanations.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams using clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Contribute to the creation of educational and reference materials used for AI training and validation.
- Stay current with trends, standards, and best practices in biology and related life sciences fields.
- Required skills: scientific writing, biological data analysis, academic research experience, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication.
- Preferred education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience authoring laboratory reports, peer-reviewed research papers, or field study documentation.
- Proficiency analyzing and interpreting biological data from experimental or literature sources.
- Detail-oriented approach and commitment to scientific rigor and accuracy.
- Prior experience collaborating remotely on scientific, research, or educational projects is a plus.
