Physicist for AI Model Training

Apply advanced physics expertise to shape next-generation AI systems. In this remote contractor role you will analyze physics concepts and real-world data, produce and refine technical content and problem sets, and provide scientific feedback that improves how AI models learn, reason, and perform. This role emphasizes deep domain knowledge, clear technical communication, and rigorous analytical thinking. Prior experience in AI is not required.

• Analyze and evaluate real-world physics data, concepts, and scenarios to inform AI model training.
• Generate, review, and refine technical content and advanced problem sets representing graduate level physics subject matter.
• Provide expert scientific feedback on complex questions and on model outputs to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.
• Translate complex theories and phenomena into clear, accessible explanations suitable for AI interpretation.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to align deliverables with changing project objectives.
• Participate in quality assurance of training data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

• Doctorate, PhD, in Physics from an accredited institution preferred.
• Advanced physics knowledge across theoretical and applied areas.
• Strong scientific data analysis skills.
• Clear technical writing ability and strong verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills relevant to scientific research.
• Experience developing or reviewing educational or technical physics materials is a plus.
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements and a proactive approach to new challenges.
• Interest or familiarity with AI, data science, or digital training environments is beneficial but not required.

• Roles are typically filled quickly, often within 48 hours; selected experts are expected to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

• Pay range, 80 to 90 USD per hour.
