Role Overview
Help improve next-generation speech and language AI by contributing clear, natural Korean audio, transcriptions, evaluations, and written feedback. This remote contract role combines language expertise with hands-on audio data work for machine learning research.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to Korean audio clips and produce accurate transcriptions or content evaluations.
- Record provided sentences in your native language from either a stationary car or a quiet office environment.
- Create requested background sounds, such as seatbelt clicks or window movements, while keeping the car stationary for all recordings.
- Review and annotate audio data according to detailed project guidelines.
- Ensure spoken and written Korean is clear and natural for datasets used in AI and machine learning research.
- Submit high-quality recordings and written feedback through the project platform, following submission requirements.
- Follow privacy and data-use requirements, including acknowledgment that recordings may be retained for ongoing research and system improvement.
Qualifications
- Native-level Korean fluency, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in speech and writing.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher to follow instructions and provide basic feedback.
- Strong communication skills and close attention to audio quality, linguistic accuracy, and annotation detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver required work.
- Comfort using digital platforms and audio tools in a remote setting.
- Commitment to ethical handling of audio data and an understanding of its role in AI development.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
- No prior AI experience is required.
Compensation
- $20 to $65 per hour.
