Korean-English Voice Recorder

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation speech and language AI by contributing natural Korean audio, transcriptions, evaluations, and written feedback. This remote contractor role focuses on high-quality real-world language data, and no prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Korean audio clips and provide accurate transcriptions or content evaluations.
• Record provided sentences in native Korean from a quiet office or a stationary car.
• Create requested background sounds, such as seatbelt clicks or window movements, while the car remains stationary.
• Review and annotate audio data according to detailed project instructions to support speech and language model development.
• Maintain clarity and naturalness in spoken and written Korean for machine-learning and AI research datasets.
• Submit audio recordings and written feedback through the project system while meeting submission requirements.
• Follow privacy and data-use requirements, understanding that recordings may be retained for ongoing research and system improvement.

Qualifications

• Native-level Korean fluency, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in speech and writing.
• At least B2 English proficiency to follow instructions and provide basic feedback in English.
• Strong communication skills and close attention to audio quality, linguistic accuracy, and annotation detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and deliverables consistently, and use remote digital and audio tools.
• Commitment to ethical, private handling of audio data and an understanding of its use in AI development.

Work Terms

• Remote independent-contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $20 to $65 per hour.
