Arabic Transcription Specialist for AI Training

Transcribe and annotate audio in Modern Standard Arabic to produce high-quality language data that trains and improves AI systems. This contractor role focuses on accurate MSA transcription, correcting machine outputs, and enriching transcripts with metadata and linguistic notes to support downstream model training.

• Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic with exceptional accuracy and fluency.
• Review and correct machine-generated transcriptions, fixing errors and improving clarity.
• Add relevant metadata tags and annotations to transcribed files to support AI processing.
• Identify contextual information in audio recordings and highlight linguistic nuances as needed.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure consistent, top-quality transcription and annotation.
• Collaborate with the customer team, providing clear written and verbal feedback on data quality.
• Handle sensitive or proprietary content with confidentiality and consistency.

• Fluent proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in audio transcription, with a demonstrable record of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience adding and managing metadata tags and annotations for audio or text content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to spot and correct errors in machine-generated transcription outputs.
• Familiarity with transcription guidelines and best practices for language data quality.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• Background as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
• Experience contributing to linguistic data projects or handling large-scale transcription tasks.

Pay range: $10.00 to $20.00 per hour.

• Must be fluent in Modern Standard Arabic and able to produce high-quality written and spoken Arabic work.
• Must have prior transcription experience and the ability to work remotely and independently.
