Role Overview
Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate Modern Standard Arabic transcriptions and richly annotated language data. This remote contract role focuses on turning real-world audio into clear, high-quality training data. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio content in Modern Standard Arabic with exceptional accuracy and fluency.
- Review and correct machine-generated transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and linguistic correctness.
- Add and manage metadata tags and annotations for audio and text data.
- Identify relevant context in audio files and flag linguistic nuances when needed.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Provide clear written and verbal feedback to the customer team on data quality.
- Handle sensitive or proprietary content confidentially.
Qualifications
- Fluent written and spoken Modern Standard Arabic.
- Demonstrated audio transcription experience with a strong record of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience applying metadata tags and annotations to audio or text content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions.
- Familiarity with transcription guidelines and language-data quality practices.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Preferred: experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Preferred: experience with linguistic data projects or large-scale transcription work.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $10 to $20 per hour.
