Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, high-quality Romanized Hindi transcriptions, annotations, and metadata. This remote contract role centers on applying strong language expertise to real-world audio and text data; prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe Romanized Hindi audio and text data accurately into written form.
- Review and correct automated Romanized Hindi transcriptions for accuracy.
- Add detailed metadata tags and context-rich annotations to audio and text files.
- Maintain consistency, linguistic integrity, and quality across transcription assignments.
- Collaborate with the customer team on project guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate clearly with project managers and team members in writing and verbally.
- Meet established deadlines and manage multiple transcription assignments efficiently.
- Fluent Romanized Hindi reading, writing, and listening skills.
- Proven transcription experience with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Experience adding metadata tags and completing annotation tasks.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, professionalism, and care in handling work.
- Ability to work independently and productively in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and discretion when handling sensitive linguistic data.
- Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Familiarity with large-scale transcription or annotation projects.
- Experience working with multicultural or linguistically diverse teams.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $8 to $16 per hour.
