About this role
Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, context-rich Romanized Hindi transcription and annotation work. This remote contract role focuses on transforming audio and text data into high-quality linguistic input. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe Romanized Hindi audio and text data accurately into written form.
- Review and correct automated Romanized Hindi transcriptions.
- Add detailed metadata tags and context-rich annotations to audio and text files.
- Maintain consistency, linguistic integrity, and quality across transcription assignments.
- Work with the project team to follow guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with project managers and team members.
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple transcription assignments efficiently.
- Fluent Romanized Hindi reading, writing, and listening skills.
- Proven transcription experience and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with metadata tagging and annotation tasks.
- Ability to identify and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, professionalism, and care in handling work.
- Ability to work independently and productively in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive linguistic data.
- Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Familiarity with large-scale transcription or annotation projects.
- Experience collaborating with multicultural or linguistically diverse teams.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $8 to $16 per hour.
