Role OverviewWork as a Spanish Language Expert contributing to data annotation and linguistic quality assurance for AI projects. Deliver precise Spanish annotations, offer cultural and linguistic guidance, and help maintain high-quality annotated datasets that improve model performance.
Key Responsibilities- Annotate and label Spanish-language data with precision and consistent application of guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify project requirements and provide linguistic insights.
- Review, edit, and validate annotated datasets to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify linguistic nuances, recurring issues, and potential challenges in Spanish data and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain and update documentation of annotation guidelines and best practices.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in written and verbal form.
- Participate in remote meetings to share expertise and support language-related discussions.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish, including strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic usage.
- Proven experience in data annotation or linguistic quality assurance.
- Bilingual proficiency, with professional-level English communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for data annotation and team collaboration.
