Role Overview
Apply advanced Sanskrit expertise to translate, create, and review high-quality Sanskrit content that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI language systems. This remote contract role focuses on linguistic accuracy, cultural context, and producing materials for educational, cultural, or digital platforms. No prior experience working with AI is required.
Key Responsibilities- Translate, review, and proofread Sanskrit texts for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and fidelity to source meaning.
- Develop original Sanskrit content for educational, cultural, and digital uses.
- Interpret and provide contextual analysis of classical Sanskrit literature.
- Advise on best practices for using Sanskrit in contemporary and modern settings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure linguistically sound deliverables and participate in quality assurance of language outputs.
- Help design learning materials and resources tailored to different audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Sanskrit, with strong command of grammar and syntax.
- Demonstrated experience translating, writing, or editing Sanskrit content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and precision.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
- Proven attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
- Familiarity with digital document editing and collaboration tools.
- Cultural sensitivity and a dedication to preserving and promoting Sanskrit heritage.
- Preferred but not required, an academic background in Sanskrit, linguistics, or related fields, experience developing or delivering Sanskrit courses, or prior involvement in cultural or educational projects using classical languages.
- Engagement type: Contractual, remote.
- Role is for independent contractor work focused on project-based tasks.
- No prior AI experience required; subject-matter expertise in Sanskrit is the primary requirement.
- Candidates must be able to work remotely and manage their own schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Pay rate: $45.00 to $95.00 per hour.
- Required skill: fluency and advanced proficiency in Sanskrit.
