English Transcription Specialist for AI Training

Transcribe and refine English audio to create high quality training data for next generation AI systems. Your work will correct and enhance machine-generated transcripts, add metadata, and help shape how models learn, reason, and perform. You will contribute subject matter expertise to a global AI data lab that transforms real world knowledge into datasets and evaluations used across industries.

• Transcribe English audio files with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Review and correct machine generated transcripts, fixing spelling, grammar, punctuation, and contextual errors.
• Add relevant metadata tags and annotations to transcripts to improve dataset quality.
• Ensure all transcriptions meet strict quality standards and client formatting guidelines.
• Collaborate with the customer team to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in source material.
• Handle sensitive or confidential content with discretion and professionalism.
• Maintain organized records of completed assignments and suggest process improvements.

• Fluent proficiency in English, with exceptional command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Extensive experience in transcription and captioning of English audio content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating care and precision in every task.
• High attention to detail, especially when reviewing and correcting machine generated transcripts.
• Proficiency annotating and tagging metadata for language datasets.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Comfort working independently while remaining responsive to feedback and updates from the customer team.
• Preferred, but not required: prior experience with AI, speech recognition, or machine learning projects.
• Preferred, but not required: background in linguistics, English, or related language studies.
• Preferred, but not required: familiarity with industry transcription tools and platforms.

Contractor role, fully remote. Assignments require independent work, responsiveness to customer feedback, and adherence to client quality and formatting standards. Tasks may include sensitive content and require discretion.

Pay range: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
