Role Overview
Record natural, expressive Peninsular Spanish voice samples that support the development and evaluation of text-to-speech systems for an internal customer experience AI agent. Your recordings may be cloned exclusively for this use case and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for any other product, dataset, or purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other script types.
- Deliver clear, natural speech with controlled tone, pacing, pronunciation, intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- Maintain a consistent voice, accent, and delivery across sessions.
- Follow recording instructions covering environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Complete multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when needed.
Qualifications
- Native Castilian or Peninsular Spanish speaker currently based in Spain.
- Clear, natural, expressive voice. Voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is helpful but not required.
- Professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while preserving a natural delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
- One recording session of approximately 4 hours is expected.
- A second session of similar length may be requested based on client needs, but is not guaranteed.
- This is an ongoing opening, with new voices considered on a rolling basis.
Compensation
$50 to $100 per hour.
