Role Overview
Contribute natural, expressive Latin American Spanish voice recordings that help train and evaluate text-to-speech systems for an internal customer experience AI agent. This is a remote, hourly independent contractor opportunity for voices with neutral, internationally intelligible Spanish delivery. Recordings will be used only for this specific internal CX AI agent and will not be sold, licensed, or reused for another product, dataset, or purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Record high-quality voice samples for conversational, narrative, instructional, and other script types.
- Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with strong control of tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- Maintain a consistent voice, accent, and delivery across sessions.
- Follow detailed recording requirements for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Complete multiple takes with appropriate variation in emotion, emphasis, and style when needed.
Qualifications
- Native Latin American Spanish speaker currently located in Latin America, able to deliver neutral Spanish that is internationally intelligible without a strong regional accent.
- Clear, natural, expressive voice and strong intonation, diction, and emotional range.
- Ability to follow scripts precisely while preserving a natural delivery.
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone, quiet recording environment, and pop filter.
- Prior voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience is helpful but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recording for TTS, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets.
- Familiarity with audio-editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
- Ability to perform multiple vocal styles, including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm delivery.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly independent contractor engagement.
- The initial commitment is one recording session of approximately 4 hours.
- A further recording session of similar length may be available later, depending on client needs.
- This is an ongoing opening, with voices considered on a rolling basis. Applications are welcome as opportunities become available.
Compensation
$50 to $100 per hour.
Eligibility
- You must be comfortable having your voice cloned for the client’s internal CX AI agent.
- Your recordings will remain limited to that specific use case and will not be sold or reused elsewhere.
