Telugu Translator and Localization Editor

Help ensure Telugu content is accurate, clear, culturally relevant, and consistent across communications, documentation, marketing materials, and localization initiatives. This remote language role combines translation, editing, linguistic quality review, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Review, edit, and translate content to and from Telugu while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on Telugu language needs for communications, documentation, and marketing materials.
• Create and maintain Telugu glossaries, style guides, and best-practice documentation.
• Provide linguistic feedback and consultation to support localization and user engagement efforts.
• Conduct quality checks and linguistic assessments for consistency and correctness.
• Support team training and onboarding on Telugu language standards and nuances.
• Monitor Telugu language usage trends and implement improvements to strengthen communication effectiveness.

• Native or near-native written and verbal Telugu proficiency.
• Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistic review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Understanding of Telugu cultural norms, idioms, and regional differences.
• Proficiency with standard office software and language tools.

• Experience in an international or cross-cultural professional environment.
• Familiarity with digital content creation and editing tools.
• Background in linguistics, communications, or a related field.

• Remote contract engagement.
• Full-time or part-time opportunities are available.

$20 to $35 per hour.
