Role Overview
Apply Mandarin language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. Your work will help improve how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required, your Mandarin language expertise is the focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and interpret accurately between Mandarin and English across a range of business contexts.
- Review, edit, and proofread written materials for linguistic quality and cultural relevance.
- Enable clear verbal and written communication among teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Localize documents, presentations, and marketing materials for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
- Partner with team members to maintain consistent messaging and high communication standards.
- Stay current on linguistic trends and relevant industry and regional terminology.
- Serve as a cultural liaison, helping teams navigate cross-cultural nuances and support successful engagement.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native Mandarin proficiency, with exceptional written and spoken command.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrated translation, interpretation, or language-services experience in business or professional settings.
- Strong attention to detail, linguistic accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities remotely, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive communication style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting cross-border teams or international business operations.
- Familiarity with technology, finance, or marketing terminology.
- Translation or language-services certification.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $45 to $95 per hour.
