Role Overview
Apply supply chain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. This remote contractor role supports a dynamic customer project and focuses on how models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Use ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms at the user level to support supply chain workflows and data entry.
- Create straightforward demand forecasts and supply plans using real or hypothetical data.
- Develop and complete supplier scorecards that assess cost, quality, reliability, and service.
- Analyze inventory and stock levels, identifying discrepancies, risks, and potential shortages.
- Prepare clear, actionable supply chain reports using intermediate Excel functions, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic formulas.
- Combine sourcing and purchasing knowledge to simulate end-to-end procurement scenarios.
- Document processes and communicate findings clearly in writing and verbally for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on supply chain experience with leading ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- User-level ERP proficiency, demand forecasting or planning skills, supplier evaluation experience, inventory analysis skills, and intermediate Excel reporting capability.
- Experience with demand planning or supplier scorecards, ideally with direct responsibility for monitoring supplier performance.
- Ability to evaluate suppliers and manage supplier relationships through structured processes.
- Experience collaborating with Purchasing Agents or working in roles that combine sourcing and procurement responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex supply chain analysis clearly.
- Ability to work independently, organize tasks efficiently, and meet project deliverables in a remote environment.
