Apply your chart interpretation and quantitative reasoning expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through rigorous, real-world analytical tasks. This remote contractor opportunity is designed for professionals who can turn complex, domain-specific visualizations into clear, objectively answerable questions and detailed solutions. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret and analyze domain-specific charts, graphs, and data visualizations accurately, using precise terminology.
- Create clear, unambiguous questions that require multi-step quantitative reasoning from information-rich charts.
- Develop objectively answerable tasks involving reasoning, calculations, comparisons, and trend analysis.
- Provide precise answers with detailed, step-by-step explanations of reasoning and calculations.
- Use correct chart terminology, units, axes, scales, legends, confidence intervals, and time periods in tasks and solutions.
- Ensure work is clear, free of subjectivity, and avoids unsupported conclusions or unnecessary complexity.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and reviewers using strong written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field, such as medicine, finance, engineering, earth science, data science, operations, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience working with domain-relevant charts or quantitative data.
- Strong chart interpretation accuracy, multi-step quantitative reasoning, question design, unambiguous task construction, and domain-specific terminology precision.
- Ability to select and interpret complex charts with multiple data series, annotations, or statistical features.
- Experience creating technical assessments, benchmark questions, or structured analytical tasks for learning, analytics, or evaluation is preferred.
- Ability to write unambiguous, objectively answerable questions and explain calculations clearly in English.
- Experience with remote, asynchronous collaboration across technical or research teams.
- An advanced degree, professional credential, or substantial industry specialization is highly desirable.
- Remote independent contractor engagement.
- Professionals from medicine and biostatistics, finance and economics, engineering and physics, earth sciences and GIS, data science and statistics, and operations and manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
$25 to $50 per hour.
