Software Engineer for AI-Native Platform & Integrations

Join a dynamic team focused on developing an AI-native platform that transforms traditional spreadsheet operations into real-time dashboards and agentic workflows. This role involves taking ownership of core product delivery, including platform foundations, integrations, analytics surfaces, and pilot launches.

• Ship production features across both backend and frontend.
• Design and implement a scalable integrations framework.
• Build real-time analytics experiences.
• Architect an agentic tool-use layer compatible with MCP-style patterns.
• Establish strong engineering hygiene, including testing, observability, and on-call readiness for the pilot.
• Iterate quickly and pragmatically.

• Strong, practical software engineering skills with the ability to ship end-to-end and unblock yourself.
• Experience building SaaS products with APIs, data models, and production constraints.
• Deep comfort with integrations, including OAuth2, webhooks, API pagination, rate limiting, and sync semantics.
• A “vibe coding” mindset, effectively using AI tools (such as Copilot/ChatGPT) to enhance speed without sacrificing correctness, along with good taste around tests, interfaces, and guardrails.
• Familiarity with MCP-style tool interfaces and/or building tool servers.
• Clear communication skills to explain tradeoffs and keep stakeholders aligned.

This is a remote, hourly contract position.

The hourly rate ranges from $70 to $110.
