About this role
Role Overview
Build an AI-native operations platform that replaces spreadsheet-driven workflows with real-time dashboards and agentic workflows. This role owns end-to-end product delivery for platform foundations, integrations, analytics surfaces, and hands-on pilot launch support.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver production features across backend and frontend stacks.
- Implement a scalable integrations framework, including connectors, event ingestion, sync, and action execution.
- Build real-time analytics dashboards with live metrics, drill-downs, and data export capabilities.
- Architect an agentic tool-use layer compatible with MCP-style patterns, including a tool registry, permissions model, runtime, and observability.
- Support pilot launch activities with hands-on technical execution: shipping, debugging, and iterating with real users.
- Establish and maintain engineering hygiene: testing, observability, and on-call readiness for pilot and production environments.
- Iterate quickly and pragmatically to move the product forward.
- Strong, practical software engineering skills, able to ship end-to-end and unblock yourself.
- Experience building SaaS products, including APIs, data models, and managing production constraints.
- Deep experience with integrations, for example OAuth2, webhooks, API pagination, rate limiting, and data sync semantics.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants such as Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate development while maintaining correctness, tests, clean interfaces, and appropriate guardrails.
- Familiarity with MCP-style tool interfaces and/or experience building tool servers or runtime integrations.
- Clear communicator, able to explain tradeoffs and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Location: Remote.
- Engagement type: Hourly positions that are matched from a talent network; when matched, roles are typically structured as full-time or fixed-term assignments rather than project-based freelance gigs.
- Employment model: When an assignment is offered, a separate staffing employer acts as the employer of record and handles W-2 employment, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and compliance. Placed engineers work embedded with client teams as standard role-based hires.
- Placement depends on project availability, and matches are made on a rolling basis.
Hourly rate range: 70 - 110 hourly.
Eligibility and Application Process- This listing is an open application to a talent network for future contract opportunities that match your background and interests.
- To be considered for matches, you must complete your profile on the network and pass the platform''s AI interview screening.
- After completing the profile and AI interview, you become eligible for relevant projects as they become available, with matching occurring on a rolling basis.
- Opportunities may be discovered through the talent network''s matching platform, while employment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits are administered by a separate staffing employer acting as employer of record.
- The employer is an equal opportunity employer and will consider requests for reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants.
