Strategy & Business Analysis Specialist

Strategy & Business Analysis Specialist contractor opportunity, remote for North America and Europe-based experts, with $40 - $100/hour pay. This role focuses on structured thinking, executive deck craft, data modeling, and deck and modeling mastery.

You will contribute to a project designed to assess and elevate the performance of advanced AI models in producing executive-level business deliverables. You will apply business and strategy expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required; domain knowledge is what matters.

• Design and author strategy and analysis tasks that simulate real-world business challenges, including multi-file inputs such as spreadsheets, PDFs, and source data.
• Create gold-standard deliverables such as PowerPoint board decks, investment committee memos, and robust Excel financial models that reflect senior stakeholder expectations.
• Establish appropriate analytical frameworks, using MECE structure and defensible recommendations for each scenario.
• Develop detailed evaluation rubrics with 35+ items to assess AI model outputs on structure, accuracy, and executive-readiness.
• Identify and document common failure modes in strategy communication, including unclear recommendations, logical inconsistencies, and unsupported figures.
• Ensure all produced content exhibits clean visual storytelling, numerical rigor, and polished executive presentation.

• Approximately 5 years of experience in management consulting, including MBB or tier-2 firms, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or FP&A settings.
• Hands-on ownership of board-level decks, strategy recommendations, or investment committee memos subject to senior review.
• Expertise in financial modeling from scratch within Excel, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Mastery of structured problem-solving approaches, including MECE, issue trees, pyramid principle, and executive communication best practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a proven ability to produce executive-facing content.
• Experience developing outputs against in-house or standardized deck templates.
• Sector-specific analytical exposure, such as TMT, healthcare, consumer, or financial services, is advantageous.
• Prior experience with rubric writing or AI training projects is a plus, though not required.

Compensation is output-based; experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications. The time required to complete work may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks per week.

Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and experts should be ready to jump in right away. If selected, you are expected to start your first tasks within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
