Role Overview
Evaluate AI-generated legal analyses that address civil legal services and access-to-justice issues, applying broad civil practice experience to assess legal reasoning, identify gaps and inaccuracies, and provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI quality and better serve people with civil legal needs.
Key Responsibilities- Review AI-generated legal analyses and written outputs.
- Evaluate scenarios across housing, family, consumer, foreclosure, and debt matters.
- Assess legal reasoning, applicable law, and procedural guidance provided by the AI.
- Identify legal inaccuracies, omissions, and access-to-justice considerations relevant to civil clients.
- Produce structured written evaluations that document findings and recommended corrections or improvements.
- Juris Doctor, JD.
- Active admission to a U.S. bar.
- Experience managing or participating in pro bono legal initiatives.
- Substantial experience in civil legal practice, including family, housing, consumer, foreclosure, or debt work.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Prior role as Pro Bono Counsel or Pro Bono Partner.
- Experience coordinating legal clinics or supervising volunteer attorneys.
- Expertise across multiple civil legal practice areas.
- Experience with legal technology or artificial intelligence initiatives.
Remote engagement, paid on an hourly basis. Employment type: hourly. Specific weekly hours are not specified in the posting.
CompensationPay rate: $170 per hour.
Eligibility- Must hold a Juris Doctor degree and be actively admitted to a U.S. bar.
- Prior involvement in pro bono programs or initiatives is required.
