Canadian French Transcriptionist for AI Training

Help improve next generation AI systems by producing accurate, culturally informed Canadian French transcripts and language data. This remote contract role focuses on reviewing machine generated content, refining it for linguistic integrity, and providing feedback that strengthens model performance.

You will apply Canadian French language expertise to transcription, editing, annotation, and quality review work. Prior AI experience is not required. Your transcription and language knowledge are central to the role.

• Review, transcribe, and correct machine generated French transcripts for accuracy and Canadian French linguistic integrity.
• Add and refine metadata tags and annotations for speech and text files to improve organization and searchability.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and errors in automated transcriptions.
• Share feedback with the customer team on language nuances, cultural context, and best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of changes and annotations in accordance with project standards.
• Provide constructive written and verbal feedback to improve workflows and AI model performance.
• Meet the customer team''s confidentiality and quality requirements.

• Fluent Canadian French, including strong grammar, spelling, and regional vocabulary knowledge.
• Demonstrated transcription and editing expertise, particularly correcting machine generated content.
• Experience applying metadata tags and detailed annotations to audio or text files.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, feedback focused approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency with transcription tools, software, or platforms is highly advantageous.

• Experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
• Experience with Canadian French language data projects.
• Familiarity with AI training workflows or language data pipelines.

• Remote contract role for candidates in Canada.

• $15 to $25 per hour.
