Equity Analyst for AI Model Evaluation, Event Propagation

Apply expert, point-in-time financial judgment to create forecasting and research data that helps evaluate and improve AI models on real company analysis. You will assess how upcoming events may affect interconnected companies, identifying the economic mechanisms through which a catalyst could propagate across an industry.

• Map supplier, customer, competitor, distributor, substitute, and geographic relationships using EDGAR filings, footnotes, exhibits, earnings transcripts, and industry data.
• Identify companies connected to an upcoming event and distinguish direct exposure from weak thematic correlation.
• Estimate expected direction, magnitude, time horizon, and confidence for each impact, explaining the relevant revenue, margin, earnings, or valuation mechanism.
• Review and grade model-generated analyses against your own professional standard.

• Senior sector portfolio manager, lead equity analyst, or event-driven investor with deep expertise in a specific industry.
• Hands-on experience mapping a company’s economic network from primary filings rather than screens or third-party tags.
• Typically 8+ years of directly relevant experience, or compelling evidence of equivalent performance.
• Experience at multi-manager or event-driven funds, leading sector teams at major asset managers or banks, or specialist research firms is a strong initial signal. Examples include Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Balyasny, D. E. Shaw, and leading sell-side sector franchises, though brand-name experience is not required. Qualification is determined by direct experience and performance on the work sample.

Hourly engagement. All work must rely on the stated evidence cutoff, without hindsight, data leakage, confidential information, or material non-public information.

$150 to $250 per hour.
