About this role
Role Overview
Build high-fidelity evaluation tasks for AI systems used in financial reporting, audit, and technical accounting. This work reflects the reporting complexity, materiality considerations, and enterprise scope of major public-company accounting functions. Projects support a US standards track, covering US GAAP and PCAOB standards, and an International standards track, covering IFRS and International Standards on Auditing. Professionals qualified in either or both tracks may apply.

- Create accounting scenarios involving financial statement preparation, technical accounting research, external and internal audit processes, and complex transactions such as M&A, revenue recognition, and leases.
- Develop tasks across financial reporting, technical accounting research, audit and assurance, complex transaction accounting, and internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Incorporate enterprise tools used at major firms, including ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, consolidation software, audit management platforms, and research tools such as Bloomberg Tax and RIA Checkpoint.
- Apply the relevant standards framework, including US GAAP/ASC Codification and PCAOB standards for US-track work, or IFRS and ISA for International-track work.
- Produce reference financial statements, technical accounting memoranda, audit workpapers, and internal-control assessments.
- Write scoring rubrics that distinguish sound professional accounting judgment from generic textbook or CPA exam-level knowledge.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as an accountant, controller, or audit partner at a major accounting firm or corporation, including Big Four firms or corporate controller/CFO environments.
- Direct responsibility for financial reporting, audit engagements, or technical accounting matters.
- Fluency with accounting tools and familiarity with regulatory reporting, including SEC filings, and audit standards.
- A CPA or international equivalent, such as ACCA or CA, is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience authoring rubrics or training materials is a plus.
Work Terms
- Remote, hourly engagement.
Compensation
- $70 to $80 per hour.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be qualified to contribute to the US standards track, the International standards track, or both.
Application Process
Apply by indicating the standards track or tracks for which you are qualified, US, International, or both.
