QA Specialist for AI Product Testing and Support

Test and support a next-generation AI-driven video generation product by performing detailed manual QA, communicating issues to technical teams, and providing client-facing technical support that helps train and improve model behavior. This contractor role emphasizes quality engineering, direct client engagement, and attention to detail; no prior AI experience is required, domain knowledge and QA experience are the focus.

• Perform thorough manual testing of an AI-powered video generation platform, assessing functionality, usability, and performance.
• Create and execute test cases and realistic user scenarios to validate new features and product updates.
• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs and issues, delivering clear, reproducible reports to engineering teams for resolution.
• Provide direct technical support to clients, answer inquiries, and explain technical details clearly and professionally.
• Capture and communicate customer feedback to cross-functional contributors to inform product improvements.
• Maintain high quality engineering standards and careful attention to detail in all testing artifacts.
• Use an iOS device to perform mobile platform testing and verify product behavior across supported environments.

• Required skills: Quality engineering, customer service, technical support.
• Proven experience with manual testing, bug tracking, and reporting in software or SaaS environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated customer- or client-facing experience with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with video generation or media technology platforms is a plus, but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, reliability, and a strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality outcomes.
• No prior AI experience required; domain knowledge and QA expertise are the primary qualifications.

• Project structure follows Pacific Time, so availability to participate according to Pacific Time (PT) is required.

• Pay rate: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour.
