Role Overview
Apply advanced IT troubleshooting expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on diagnosing support issues, documenting solutions, and improving technical support workflows. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve common and complex hardware, software, and networking issues using industry best practices.
- Provide operating system support for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity concerns involving TCP/IP, VPNs, and DNS.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user interactions clearly in a ticket management system.
- Contribute detailed process insights that improve support workflows and technical training-data quality.
- Collaborate asynchronously and explain technical concepts effectively in writing and verbally.
- Identify patterns in support issues and recommend process improvements to the project team.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of proven Tier 2 or Tier 3 IT support experience.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across varied platforms.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, and DNS troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with ticket management systems and thorough documentation practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide user-friendly explanations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality input for technical projects.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL certifications are advantageous.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $30 to $55 per hour.
