Excel Specialist for AI Model Training

Help improve AI systems’ ability to create, interpret, and modify complex Office Open XML files by applying your professional Excel, PowerPoint, and Word expertise to realistic business-document challenges. This remote contract role focuses on producing high-quality evaluations and feedback for .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx deliverables. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Design realistic, challenging business scenarios requiring advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Participate in structured, multi-turn conversations with an LLM, provide complex document-related prompts, and evaluate the resulting deliverables.
• Create and review .xlsx, .docx, and .pptx files, compare two AI-generated solutions against professional standards, and select the stronger result.
• Provide detailed side-by-side feedback on quality, accuracy, and business relevance to support AI model improvement.
• Contribute domain knowledge across industries and business functions to ensure coverage of diverse real-world use cases.
• Communicate precise, actionable feedback verbally and in writing for the AI training team.

• At least 3 years of professional experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high-impact business projects in Fortune 500 environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Office Open XML, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skills.
• Experience creating complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations in industries such as finance, healthcare, technology, consulting, or retail.
• Background in roles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR professional, or marketing strategist, including hands-on deal or project work.
• Ability to design use cases for strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Strong business analysis, document-review, scenario-design, analytical-thinking, written-communication, and verbal-communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess nuanced differences in document quality and business applicability.
• Experience working with LLMs or writing long-form prompts for AI tools is a plus.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $20 to $60 per hour.
