Police Dispatcher (911)

Apply your emergency communications expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems for emergency response and real-time communications. This remote, project-based opportunity values your dispatch knowledge, with no prior AI experience required.

• Prioritize and triage incoming requests accurately in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
• Monitor and manage radio, phone, and digital communication channels simultaneously.
• Assess, document, and route incidents using APCO or NENA protocols and established procedures.
• Provide clear, concise, accurate written and verbal responses in fast-paced simulated or real-world emergency scenarios.
• Provide detailed feedback on incident handling, decision-making, and escalation processes to support AI model evaluation and development.
• Develop typical and edge-case dispatch scenarios, including recommended response protocols.
• Review and annotate transcripts or incident logs for clarity and fidelity in training datasets.

• At least 3 years of active experience as a police dispatcher, coordinator, or in an equivalent emergency communications role.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and make rapid decisions in high-stress environments.
• APCO and/or NENA certification is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Familiarity with dispatch protocols, CAD systems, and modern emergency communication technologies.
• Experience documenting and communicating procedures for training or quality-assurance purposes.
• A detail-oriented, adaptable, collaborative approach to remote, project-based work.

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

$30 to $65 per hour.
