Apply advanced Excel expertise to create high-quality real-world inputs that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on business operations, strategy, and data analysis use cases outside of finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and improve complex Excel files used for business operations, strategy, and data analysis.
- Provide detailed feedback and best-practice examples for operational and consulting Excel use cases, excluding finance.
- Design, document, and share Excel templates or solutions that capture expert knowledge for AI learning.
- Work with the project team to identify workflows and operational challenges represented in Excel documents.
- Evaluate and simulate real-world business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.
- Create data analysis case studies and operational scenarios using Excel expertise.
- Communicate clearly in writing and conversation, with precise, comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation tools.
- Experience developing Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex, non-financial business problems.
- Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide actionable feedback.
- Ability to document processes and create instructional materials.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
- Familiarity with AI training or contributing domain expertise to machine learning datasets.
- Experience building Excel-based tools or dashboards for operational excellence initiatives.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $40 to $55 per hour.
