Role Overview
Apply advanced Excel expertise to improve how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world operational and data-analysis input. This remote independent contractor role focuses on business operations, strategy, and consulting use cases, excluding finance. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and improve complex Excel workbooks used for business operations, strategy, and data analysis.
- Provide detailed feedback and practical examples of Excel best practices for operational and consulting scenarios.
- Create, document, and share expert templates or solutions for AI learning purposes.
- Work with the project team to identify important workflows and operational challenges reflected in Excel documents.
- Evaluate and simulate real-world, non-financial business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.
- Create data-analysis case studies and operational scenarios that demonstrate Excel expertise.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with precise, comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation tools.
- Proven experience building Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex, non-financial business challenges.
- Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.
- Ability to document processes, develop instructional materials, and deliver clear, actionable feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
- Familiarity with AI training or contributing domain expertise to machine-learning datasets.
- Experience creating Excel-based tools or dashboards for operational-excellence initiatives.
Work Terms

Compensation
- $40 to $55 per hour.
