Japanese Language Expert for AI Training

Apply your Japanese language expertise to create high-quality bilingual transcription and translation data that helps train and improve next-generation AI systems. You will convert audio and written content between Japanese and English, edit transcripts for linguistic and contextual accuracy, and provide actionable feedback to improve processes. No prior experience in AI is required.

• Transcribe audio and written materials accurately between Japanese and English
• Review and edit transcripts to maintain linguistic and contextual fidelity
• Provide insightful linguistic feedback to enhance transcription processes and quality
• Manage multiple transcription tasks, meet project deadlines, and deliver consistent, polished results
• Collaborate with remote team members and communicate clearly via written and verbal channels
• Use transcription tools and digital collaboration platforms to complete assignments

• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese, with a strong command of English
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, or related language services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in transcription work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Proficiency with transcription tools and online collaboration platforms
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Preferred, but not required, prior experience with bilingual transcription projects
• Preferred familiarity with technical terminology across industries
• Preferred background in language studies, linguistics, or a related field

Contract position, performed remotely. You will coordinate with team members, manage multiple assignments, and adhere to project deadlines.

Pay range, $30 - $65 per hour, depending on experience and project requirements
