Role Overview
Use your computational biology and medicinal chemistry expertise to analyze, annotate, and review real-world scientific data that trains and improves next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on high-quality domain input that helps models learn, reason, and perform in computational biology contexts. No prior AI experience is required, domain knowledge is the priority.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and annotate complex biological data sets, with emphasis on applications relevant to medicinal chemistry.
- Provide domain-specific feedback and scientific insights to improve AI model performance in computational biology tasks.
- Evaluate scientific content for accuracy, relevance, and clarity, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and review problem sets, case studies, and realistic scenarios based on medicinal chemistry challenges.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject matter experts to validate findings and contribute perspectives on deliverables.
- Contribute to the refinement of data curation methodologies and best practices for computational biology data.
- Required skills: medicinal chemistry.
- Advanced degree preferred, for example PhD, PharmD, or MSc in computational biology, medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in medicinal chemistry, including experience with drug discovery or drug design.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort interpreting biological datasets and scientific literature.
- Experience applying computational methods to chemistry or biology problems.
- Proficiency with relevant bioinformatics tools, cheminformatics platforms, or data analysis software.
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Participation in cross-disciplinary or AI-related scientific projects is a plus.

$90.00 to $120.00 per hour.
Eligibility- This is an independent contractor role for remote contributors. Candidates must be able to accept contractor payment under the laws and tax rules that apply to them.
