Role Overview
Apply computational biology and medicinal chemistry expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, high-quality scientific input. This remote contract opportunity focuses on analyzing biological data, evaluating scientific content, and developing real-world materials that strengthen AI performance in computational biology contexts. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and annotate complex biological datasets for medicinal chemistry applications.
- Provide domain-specific feedback and insights to improve AI models used in computational biology.
- Assess scientific content for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and review problem sets, case studies, and scenarios based on real-world medicinal chemistry challenges.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject-matter experts to validate findings and contribute perspectives on deliverables.
- Help refine data-curation methods and best practices in computational biology.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree, PhD, PharmD, or MSc, in computational biology, medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated medicinal chemistry expertise, including drug discovery or drug design experience.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of biological datasets and scientific literature.
- Experience using computational methods to solve chemistry or biology problems.
- Proficiency with relevant bioinformatics tools, cheminformatics platforms, or data-analysis software.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Experience with cross-disciplinary or AI-driven scientific projects is a plus.
Work Terms
