Build, validate, and automate advanced macroeconomic time series models using EViews to produce reliable forecasts and clear economic insights that inform organizational decisions. This remote, contract opportunity centers on applying rigorous econometric techniques and EViews scripting to deliver reproducible forecasting workflows and concise, actionable reporting.

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement time series models in EViews, including VAR, VECM, ARIMA, and cointegration frameworks.
- Estimate models, perform rigorous diagnostics, and validate model stability and forecasting performance.
- Automate forecasting workflows and EViews scripting for efficiency and scalability.
- Translate statistical outputs into clear, actionable macroeconomic insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document modeling approaches, assumptions, and results in concise written reports.
- Collaborate with the client team to integrate model results into broader economic narratives and policy or business recommendations.
- Keep up to date with macroeconomic modeling best practices and EViews updates.
- Extensive hands-on experience with EViews, including scripting and automation features.
- Proven expertise building, estimating, and validating time series models, especially VAR, VECM, ARIMA, and cointegration models.
- Strong knowledge of model diagnostics, stability testing, and forecasting accuracy measures.
- Solid quantitative background and the ability to explain complex modeling processes clearly in writing and verbally.
- Track record of automating modeling and forecasting workflows.
- Ability to extract economic meaning from statistical outputs and present findings insightfully.
- Self-driven, detail oriented, and experienced in remote collaboration.
- Preferred but not required, an advanced degree in Economics, Econometrics, Applied Statistics, or related field.
- Preferred experience supporting central banks, policy institutions, or financial sector clients, and familiarity with additional tools such as R, Python, or Stata.

Pay range: $35.00 to $100.00 per hour, paid on an hourly basis.
