Role Overview
Help train next-generation AI systems by producing high-quality Hindi transcriptions and annotations. In this contractor role you will convert spoken Hindi audio into accurate, client-ready text, correct machine-generated outputs, and add detailed metadata to improve dataset quality. You will contribute domain expertise that helps models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to and accurately transcribe Hindi audio files, preserving language fidelity and clarity.
- Audit and correct machine-generated transcriptions, resolving errors, ambiguities, and contextual issues.
- Add metadata tags and annotations to transcriptions to support organization and retrieval.
- Identify and correct inconsistencies or mistakes with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the client team, providing feedback and insights on transcription and annotation decisions.
- Deliver high-quality, client-ready transcription and annotation work on time.
- Maintain strict data privacy and confidentiality standards at all times.
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written Hindi.
- Proven experience in Hindi transcription, annotation, and metadata tagging.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience correcting and editing machine-generated transcriptions for errors and contextual relevance.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to provide feedback and documentation.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with transcription software and familiar with digital collaboration tools.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber.
- Background in linguistic data processing or handling large-scale audio datasets.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning data annotation processes is a plus, but not required.
- Engagement type: Contractor, independent contractor relationship.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Work environment: Remote, fast-paced projects with collaborative feedback loops.
- Pay range: 8 to 16 per hour.
- Applicants must be able to work as independent contractors and perform work remotely.
- No prior experience in AI is required, domain expertise in Hindi transcription and annotation is the primary qualification.
