Role Overview
Transform Mandarin and English audio into precise, high-quality transcripts that support the training and improvement of next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role centers on producing real-world language data that helps AI models better understand and work with Mandarin.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to Mandarin and English audio recordings and create accurate, verbatim transcriptions.
- Add required tags or contextual notes in accordance with project guidelines.
- Review, proofread, and edit transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and formatting compliance.
- Follow detailed transcription instructions and formatting standards throughout each assignment.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify ambiguous audio and resolve linguistic challenges.
- Deliver final transcripts on agreed project timelines while meeting quality expectations.
- Provide linguistic insight that improves AI understanding and performance for Mandarin-language data.
Qualifications
- Native Mandarin fluency with advanced listening and comprehension skills.
- Professional-level Mandarin audio transcription experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free work.
- Ability to work independently and manage remote project deliverables.
- Familiarity with transcription tools or platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience with bilingual Mandarin-English projects is a plus.
- Interest in AI training and language technology initiatives.
- No prior AI experience is required.
