Produce precise Mandarin and English audio transcripts that support the training and evaluation of advanced AI systems. This remote contract role is ideal for a detail-oriented language professional who can deliver accurate, well-formatted transcription work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Listen to Mandarin and English audio recordings and create accurate, verbatim transcripts.
- Add required tags or contextual notes according to project guidelines.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and formatting compliance.
- Follow detailed transcription instructions and meet agreed project timelines and quality standards.
- Work with project coordinators to clarify ambiguous audio content and linguistic questions.
- Contribute Mandarin language insights that improve AI understanding and performance.
- Native Mandarin fluency with advanced listening and comprehension skills.
- Professional-level audio transcription experience, particularly with Mandarin recordings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and manage remote project deliverables.
- Familiarity with transcription tools or platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience with bilingual Mandarin-English work is a plus.
- Interest in AI training and language technology initiatives.
