Role Overview
Apply your Myanmar and English language expertise to create high-quality annotated language data that helps train next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role centers on transcription, linguistic analysis, cultural interpretation, and content annotation. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge and attention to linguistic detail are the primary qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe video content accurately, including precise timestamps.
- Identify and describe speakers'' emotional undertones and expressiveness.
- Analyze grammatical structures, tone, and contextual meaning within dialogues.
- Define and clarify complex Myanmar and English terms, capturing conceptual depth and nuance.
- Produce high-quality written outputs that reflect linguistic subtlety and cultural context.
- Support advanced language tasks such as language evaluation and content annotation.
- Collaborate with a remote, globally distributed team and follow project guidelines closely.
- Exceptional proficiency in both Myanmar and English, written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis.
- Deep understanding of Myanmar cultural cues, emotional expressions, and linguistic variations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex language data.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and ability to manage remote work independently.
- Ability to clearly document and report linguistic findings and annotations.
- Commitment to contribute at least 15 hours per week to assigned projects.
- Experience with video content analysis or media localization projects.
- Academic background in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
- Familiarity with language technology tools and content management systems.
