Role Overview
Apply mechanical engineering and CAD expertise to help train next-generation AI systems using precise, real-world analysis of multi-part FreeCAD assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create objective, unambiguous question-and-answer sets from multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format.
- Analyze complex mechanical designs, including geometry, assembly relationships, and engineering function, and develop multiple technical questions for each assembly.
- Ensure every question has an exact, verifiable answer that requires domain expertise.
- Produce clear, technically accurate written questions and answers.
- Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal communication to clarify requirements, incorporate feedback, and refine deliverables.
- Document insights and ambiguities encountered during authoring to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial design, with strong CAD fundamentals.
- Significant experience analyzing multi-part CAD assemblies and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD software. Direct FreeCAD experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical assembly analysis and technical writing skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and conversation.
- Experience creating detailed technical questions or engineering training materials.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to objective, assessment-ready content.
- An expert or consultant mindset centered on accuracy and clarity in technical communication.
Work Terms
