Manufacturing CAD Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply hands-on CAD and manufacturing expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your feedback will help improve how models learn, reason, and perform using detailed, real-world input. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert feedback on manufacturing processes and techniques, with CAM and CNC workflow experience especially valued.
• Review, assess, and refine AI-generated content and recommendations for manufacturing workflows.
• Develop and validate detailed rubrics that assess manufacturing process accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, FreeCAD, or platforms such as SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CATIA, or Creo.
• Clear, detailed written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Autodesk tools, particularly Fusion 360 or AutoCAD, is preferred.
• CAM, CNC machining, or digital manufacturing workflow experience is preferred.
• Python proficiency is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including LLMs, generative design, or AI-assisted workflows, and confidence evaluating AI output is preferred.
• Experience creating or applying process-evaluation rubrics is preferred.

Work Terms

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote and open to candidates worldwide.
• Expected commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate evenings and weekends.
• Work is task-based, and time required may vary based on experience and workflow.
• Minimum task-submission requirements apply each week.

Compensation

• $80 to $130 per hour.
• Compensation is output-based and paid for tasks that meet project specifications.
