This remote contract role supports a client project focused on video data annotation for AI training. No previous AI experience is required; your video editing expertise is the primary qualification.

• Annotate and tag video content in Final Cut Pro, producing detailed and accurate metadata for AI training datasets.
• Segment footage, mark keyframes, and identify relevant scenes according to project guidelines.
• Use macOS editing workflows to organize and process media assets efficiently.
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across video annotations and post-production deliverables.
• Provide written updates and participate in verbal discussions with project coordinators when needed.
• Take part in periodic reviews and incorporate feedback to strengthen annotation standards and workflow efficiency.
• Submit completed annotations and post-production assets according to required documentation and delivery specifications.

• Hands-on Final Cut Pro experience in a professional or academic setting.
• Professional video editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, and color correction.
• Familiarity with macOS-based editing tools and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document processes and collaborate remotely.
