Final Cut Pro Video Editor

Role Overview

Use Final Cut Pro to create detailed video annotations that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role applies real-world video editing expertise to segment footage, identify keyframes and relevant scenes, and deliver accurate metadata and post-production assets. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate and tag video content in Final Cut Pro for AI training datasets.
• Segment footage, mark keyframes, and highlight relevant scenes according to project guidelines.
• Use macOS editing workflows to organize and process media assets efficiently.
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality across annotations and post-production deliverables.
• Provide written updates and participate in verbal discussions with project coordinators as needed.
• Take part in periodic reviews and apply feedback to improve annotation standards and workflow efficiency.
• Submit completed annotations and post-production assets according to required documentation and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Final Cut Pro in a professional or academic setting.
• Professional video editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, and color correction.
• Familiarity with macOS editing tools and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document processes and collaborate remotely.
• An entry-level to mid-level video editing background. This opportunity is well suited to editors looking to expand their portfolio through data-driven projects.
• Experience or interest in video data annotation, media organization, or related work is helpful but not required.

Work Terms

• Remote, contract engagement.

Compensation

• $15 to $80 per hour.
