Video Editor for AI Training

Use your video editing and post production expertise to create, evaluate, and refine visual media that trains next generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on shaping how models learn about storytelling, animation, robotics media, and educational content by producing high quality assets, organizing media for dataset creation, and providing domain expertise to improve model outputs. No prior experience in AI is required; domain knowledge in video and visual media production is the primary qualification.

• Review, evaluate, and refine animations and visual effects outputs to support AI training in storytelling, robotics, and instructional content.
• Organize, label, and maintain structured project files and media assets to enable efficient dataset creation and annotation workflows.
• Assess AI generated content, implement stakeholder feedback, and ensure outputs meet quality standards, factual accuracy, and project objectives.
• Develop rubrics, evaluation frameworks, and curated media datasets to train and benchmark AI systems that work with video, animation, and instructional content.
• Contribute domain expertise to identify weaknesses, edge cases, and opportunities for improving visual and narrative generation.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in a remote environment, providing clear written and verbal feedback to support iterative model development.

Required

• Bachelor''s degree in any field is mandatory, plus significant experience in video or visual media production.
• Proven expertise in video editing and post production, including audio editing and visual storytelling.
• Experience with one or more editing and VFX tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with animation and visual effects for digital or educational content.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and project file management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and implement constructive feedback.
• Experience working effectively in remote, collaborative environments, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with post production workflows, deadline management, and implementing feedback into iterative deliverables.
• Awareness of industry trends in video and digital storytelling.

Preferred

• Background in robotics media, AI training data, or educational content creation.
• Knowledge of video engineering or experience developing media standards and evaluation rubrics.
• Demonstrated awareness of advancements in AI related to video, animation, and digital storytelling technologies.

• Independent contractor relationship, paid on an hourly basis.

$30.00 - $80.00 per hour.
