Role OverviewThis remote contract role focuses on developing high-quality electrical engineering training and assessment materials that help evaluate how AI systems reason through complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities- Write rigorous, graduate-level single-option multiple-choice questions in your electrical engineering specialty.
- Create detailed solutions and precise grading rubrics aligned with academic assessment standards.
- Review AI-generated electrical engineering content for technical accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical quality.
- Evaluate AI model outputs and provide nuanced feedback on where the reasoning aligns with or differs from human expert reasoning.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject matter experts to improve question quality, relevance, and rigor.
- Explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing for exam solutions and instructional content.
- Contribute to an evolving question bank focused on advanced engineering reasoning.
- PhD or advanced Master''s degree in Electrical Engineering, with university-level teaching experience as a professor, adjunct, lecturer, or teaching assistant.
- Experience writing or reviewing graduate-level electrical engineering assessments, examinations, or coursework.
- Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas: analog circuits, digital circuits, RF, power electronics, and integrated circuits.
- Experience with educational content creation, rubric design, assessment development, or instructional design.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to clarity and academic rigor.
- Ability to work independently, meet project milestones, and collaborate effectively in an asynchronous remote environment.
- Remote, independent-contractor engagement.
- Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Completion time may vary based on experience and workflow.
- Minimum submission requirements apply, including a weekly minimum task-submission requirement.
- Selected candidates should be prepared to begin initial tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required onboarding process.
Advertised rate: $40 to $130 per hour.
