About this role

Role Overview

Build pipelines of security-cleared professionals for mission-critical U.S. government and defense-sector roles. This full-cycle recruiting position focuses on connecting qualified federal, military, veteran, and government-experienced talent with location-specific, hard-to-fill opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, evaluating, and closing candidates across cleared domains and locations.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of federal civilians, military officers, veterans, enlisted and NCO personnel, and professionals with prior U.S. government experience.
  • Use cleared-talent channels such as ClearanceJobs and ClearedJobs.net, along with military transition networks including SkillBridge, TAP, and Hiring Our Heroes.
  • Screen candidates for clearance level, status, and eligibility while maintaining compliance with federal guidelines.
  • Coordinate clearance verification with Facility Security Officers and customer security offices, using candidate self-reported information as an initial screening filter.
  • Translate military experience, including MOS or rate and service history, into role fit and build trusted relationships with transitioning service members and veterans.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, establish realistic timelines, and provide a strong candidate experience through offer acceptance.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with substantial experience in cleared, defense, or government-contracting talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success placing security-cleared candidates and actively sourcing through cleared talent pools and proprietary channels.
  • Knowledge of U.S. clearance levels, including Secret, TS, TS/SCI, and polygraph clearances, as well as reactivation windows, reciprocity, and compliance limits in candidate discussions.
  • Ability to interpret military and veteran backgrounds, including MOS or rate, and communicate credibly with transitioning service members.
  • Familiarity with clearance-verification workflows and collaboration with Facility Security Officers or security offices.
  • Strong sourcing, screening, stakeholder-management, written communication, verbal communication, organization, and metrics-driven recruiting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for maritime or Navy, drone or UAS, or combat-operator specialties.
  • Experience as a military recruiter, Facility Security Officer, or veteran.
  • Familiarity with contingent, project-based, or RPO staffing models in defense or federal environments.

Work Terms

  • Full-time, remote role.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Compensation

  • $35 to $65 per hour.

Eligibility

  • U.S.-based recruitment professional.
